Beautiful Vintage Angel Postcard Pillow

I have to say that by far this is one of the best pillows I have ever ever created!!! I rarely keep any of my creations for myself..but this one I cannot part with. I may make some similar to this sometime & offer it for sale either here on my blog, in my ebay store, or in my etsy shop....there are links to those stores to the right.
I used a wonderful vintage postcard image fabric block by SUMMERSDARLING on ebay to create this one of a kind pillow. I used a vintage snow white hobnail chenille and real feather wings to add just the perfect touch. I also used white pom pom trim and Victorian inspired white Venise lace. The flowers are a mix of vintage millinery style and organza and satin ribbon roses, silk flowers and more!!! I topped it off with two gorgeous sparkling rhinestone roses and used glass glitter on the wings for that pretty affect.
I think I will make one somewhat like this one for my mommy for Mother's Day this year..only hers will be a door hanger type so she can hang it for display.
I always do special orders so if you would like this image made into a pillow or sachet just email me a jraeburk@gmail.com for more info and pricing.

  1. Dear Julie,
Thank you for the lovely comment in my blog. Your approval meets so much to me. Your kind words lift my spirits and make them soar. I see you are busy creating yourself and your accomplishments are amazing. Keep it up. It is so much fun to create pillows and more from the vintage images and I appreciate the fact that you purchased this lovely angel from me. Thank you very much. I know your mother will love the creation you make her. You will certainly put your heart into it. A labor of love surely.
    Love and hugs,
    Pat
